LOOKING UP

Some times we just need to stop and look up.

Walking back from Liana’s photo session this morning, which was a blast for me and hopefully for her as well, I just stopped and looked up. I had one last click to make on my card and took this.  I see the beginning of fall in the leaves that are starting to turn yellow and peeks of the gorgeous blue sky. It’s been three glorious days to shoot and I’m loving it. I’m also getting  a bit behind in processing so I’m giving a heads up…. enjoy the last few days before Labor Day weekend and all the hectic activities that are about to start. I have to remember that you’ve all got lots going on, getting ready for the school year and cleaning up our yards, so I hope you’ll all be patient with me as well.

Some of you may or may not know that I have a dad who has been ill. He just got out of the hospital and is doing well at home with 24 hour care. When I’m not shooting and processing and printing, I’m there, in Quincy, with him. I’ve been lucky so far that I haven’t had to postpone any sessions. He’s a trooper and is home, gaining his strength back.

And, I’m looking forward to shooting from now until late fall…. lots of families and kids to shoot, so book your fall family sessions now. What is nicer than a new updated family portrait hanging over your fireplace, framed in our new gorgeous handmade frames. Don’t forget the pets, isn’t it time for a pet portrait?

Headshots for actors, Corporate portraits for that outdated business card or one for your new website….

Don’t forget to LOOK UP!
