This riverine town lies just off the Maekhlong River, a short way upstream
from Maekhlong (a.k.a. Samut Songkram), the terminus of my train journey.
The river originates in the hills along the border with Burma, a stream better known
as the River Khwai.

This is a floating market. People walk along the sides of the river and the market consists ofboats floating up and down the river, selling their food.
The smells, aromas, colors, people, sounds, faces, activity
are amazing.
I sat on a step and watched the scene.
Eventually I put my camera on a step and used it as a tripod and started shooting.
